Damp Proof Membrane Installation

A damp-proof membrane, or DPM, is one of the most effective ways to damp-proof a property while also providing a building with extra insulation.

The damp-proof membrane is a thick sheet of material designed to stop moisture from seeping into the walls of a property. Damp-proof membranes are waterproof and generally made of durable plastic composites.

Membrane Installers

At Damp Group Bristol Ltd, our highly skilled membrane installation team will ensure that the membrane being installed does not loose any of its integrity throughout the fitting process.

This means that the membrane is cut to the exact size, so it fits over the walls or flooring where it is to be installed.

We also make sure that when the DPM is fixed in place, the sheet is stable, and the all-important air gap is allowed to form.

Finally, we ensure that any visible joins or edges are sealed.

It is recommended that a damp-proof membrane be installed in conjunction with a damp-proof course.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The team from Damp Group Bristol Ltd that attended were great, I couldn't believe how clean my dining room was left on completion considering this type of work!
Would highly recommend this company in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really professional team who removed old plaster, inserted a damp-proof course and re-plastered. Really impressed with Aiden's finishing plastering on day 2 who was meticulous in checking over his work several times to ensure a perfect finish. All the team were very tidy over the 2 days and cleaned up removing all waste.
